Maharaja Agrasen Hospital - Delhi
Maharaja Agrasen Hospital was established under the auspices of Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Charitable Trust, Punjabi Bagh New Delhi. This Trust was founded in 1980 by prominent donors of the Society with the main objective of giving free medical aid to every deserving human being irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It also aims to set up and manage Hospitals, Dispensaries, Charitable Institutions and Medical Institutions and to provide training for Doctors, Nurses and Paramedical staff to achieve the objective of the Trust.
The hospital treats 41 specialities including a world-class bone and joint replacement facility. The hospital has a state-of-the-art Labour Room cum Neonatal Nursery complex fully equipped with the latest Monitors, Ventilators, Cardiac Tachometers and several other equipment to monitor high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. The Neonatal and Pediatric Nursery is one of the best in Delhi. Besides this, an Infertility Centre (IVF Centre for Test Tube Babies) has been developed with the latest equipment which provides the best facilities for couples to have children by artificial methods. The hospital also has free dialysis units, emergency services, free consultation, surgery and medicine distribution with 20% of the beds reserved for the poor.
