St. Isabel’s Hospital, located in the heart of Chennai city, is a multi-speciality tertiary care hospital with a legacy of providing quality affordable healthcare for more than seven decades. The hospital was built in 1947 with the idea of bringing affordable compassionate care to the disadvantaged under the aegis of the Franciscan Hospitaller sisters congregation. In response to the growing demand from patients, over the last 70 years, the hospital expanded to a multi-speciality centre delivering a broad spectrum of services. Currently, the hospital has 300 beds and offers more than thirty specialities and super-specialities, with many more in the pipeline.
