Maharashtra’s First transgender ward started at Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital. The 30-bed ward not only provides clinical and medical treatment to transgenders but also mental health counselling. The staff have been sensitised and issued detailed standard operating procedures. The hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, and oncology, as well as general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and bariatric surgery.
