St. Stephen’s Hospital is a well-respected institution located in the bustling streets and alleyways of Tis Hazari in Old Delhi. The hospital has been providing compassionate care to those in pain for over a century. It was established by a group of missionary women, making it the first hospital for women and children in Delhi. Currently, the hospital offers services in over 32 specialities with a team of 76 doctors. 75% of the beds are set aside for the underprivileged, and a majority of the treatments, including emergency services, are provided free of charge. The hospital’s mission is to provide care to the sick and suffering, regardless of their caste, creed, race, or language, following the teachings of Jesus Christ with love and compassion.
