HNCII Hospital
HNCII is a 93 bedded super specialty cancer hospital which is wholly dedicated to the treatment of Head and Neck Cancer including cancers of the oral cavity, voice box, salivary glands, thyroid, paranasal sinuses and skull base. It also has a division to treat women’s cancers – breast / uterus / ovarian cancers. The hospital was created pursuant to a MOU with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai(MCGM). 20% of the beds are reserved for indigent and weaker section patients and municipal employees and their associates and treatment is provided either free or at highly subsidised rates, thereby providing cost effective treatment to the common man. Even for the balance 80% of the beds, which are in single or twin share rooms, the rates are as per the prevalent.
